#5 Tarot – I usually don’t like horror movies, I prefer comedy, but I thought that Tarot was a good mix of both. There were both happy and scary moments. There was humor and horror. It’s not my favorite, but definitely in the top 5.
#4 A Haunted House – This is one of my all time favorite movies. It’s a movie I could watch over and over and not get tired of. The mix of comedy and horror is perfect because the “scary” moments are more funny than scary.
#3 Hotel Transylvania – Hotel Transylvania is one of my comfort movies. It is such a wholesome Halloween cartoon. I think everyone needs to see Hotel Transylvania at least once.
#2 Coraline – Coraline is such a classic Halloween movie. There is the perfect amount of eerieness, plot twists, and spookiness. The more you watch it, the more hidden messages you can find. It is also interesting to see all of the conspiracy theories people make up.
#1 Beetlejuice Beetlejuice – Hot take, the second Beetlejuice is better than the original one. The actors are perfect for their roles and the way they carry out the scenes is flawless. Unlike a lot of Halloween movies, the plot is actually interesting and engaging. It is altogether the best Halloween movie of all time.
